Ok, here is another one of those posts where I apologize for having not updated in a while.
Looks like Spring is here in Vail. The weather has been gorgeous. Of course, along with Spring comes Spring Snow Storms. It looks like it might snow all week starting tomorrow. We’ll keep our fingers crossed.
On the Real Estate front, things are busy. The Ascent Sotheby’s International Realty team is hard at work. Listings are selling, and Buyers are buying. Advice for Sellers, price your home right. We are seeing more and more homes priced right going under contract. For Buyers, have realistic expectations. There are currently 461 homes for sale from East Vail to West Vail. It is a Buyer’s market, but we still need to strike a deal for you to be able to move in.
Anyway….the weather is great. You Need to Be Here in Vail….NOW.
So I went away last weekend. A family vacation. Short but sweet. While I was away Vail transformed from America’s biggest ski resort without much snow, into what we expect when we hear Vail. It snowed a lot while I was gone. The Mountain is in great shape, and today is one of those incredible blue sky days. I’d like to post a picture of the blue sky, but my iPhone camera wouldn’t do it justice. Just take my word for it, today is a day to be out on the Mountain. This is going to be a great weekend. Hope to see you on the mountain or in town.
As far as real estate goes….Things have been moving. Not like the heyday, but at a good steady pace. There are currently 452 homes on the market from East Vail to West Vail. It is certainly a buyer’s market. If you have ever thought about purchasing a Vail home, now is a great time. There are some amazing deals out there, at all price points. I’d be remiss if I too didn’t mention that it is finally snowing again in Vail. It is snowing. Not sure how big this one will be, but we’ve already received a couple of inches here in town. They say, whoever they are, that we are going to start getting some storms our way over the next couple of weeks. I say, Good.
